This year we would like to recognize a business that has been in Riverside a long time. The name may have changed, but the commitment and service to the community has never wavered. The Bank of Riverside opened its doors in 1954. The bank was owned by the Davis family, and at the time was the first and only bank in Riverside. Throughout the years, the Bank of Riverside changed its name to Farmers Exchange Bank then Park Bank, all while still being owned by the Davis family.
In 2007 the bank was sold and became today’s Patriots Bank. Along the way there have been several members of the bank that have served on the chamber board of directors. Donna Stokes was president in 1993, Brad Richeson in 1998, and Tammy Stumph, who is serving as our president today.
Always a willing supporter of the chamber and the community, Patriots Bank has participated and sponsored such activities as Riverfest, Shop with a Cop, Trunk or Treat, and the FPAL golf tournament. They received the city’s 2011 Do Good Award, hosting a Bingo Night at Riverside Nursing and Rehab, and our currently participating and supporting our holiday food drive benefiting Hillcrest Transitional Housing.
It is with great pleasure that we present this award to Patriots Bank. President and CEO,
