In celebration of Earth Day, the cities of Parkville and Riverside, Missouri are coming together to host the 2014 Northland Recycling Extravaganza. This event, which takes place on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., is a collection of vendors that will help the public recycle almost everything.
The Recycling Extravaganza will be at Pursell Construction, 6305 NW Riverpark Drive, Riverside, Mo. (between Riverside and Parkville off 9 Highway) and is open to the public. Items that will be no rims), car and ni-cad batteries, furniture, household items, clothing, usable residential building materials, electronics (some fees may apply), iron, oil and antifreeze, hardbound and paperback books, prescription drugs, glasses and sun glasses, bicycles, tennis balls, and unusable athletic shoes.
